$1 Off on Pancreatic Enzymes

The holidays are rapidly approaching, fair members, and a variety of celebrations and delectable dishes will soon be tempting you. While it's always a good idea to have digestive enzymes on hand, this is a perfect time to make sure you have an ample supply of  Pancreatic Enzymes in your pantry. That's why we're offering a special pre-holiday discount of $1 off each bottle of enzymes you buy through November 14, 2010.

Pancreatic EnzymesOur vegetarian Pancreatic Enzymes product is a plant-based enzyme blend. Unlike enzymes derived from animal sources, vegetarian enzymes works at a wide range of pH levels to break down food starting in stomach (pH about 3.0) as well as the more neutral intestines (pH about 6.0). This means that the capsule does not need to be enteric coated. Also, vegetarian enzymes can help digest wheat gluten, which may increase stomach and intestinal comfort.

Stock up on Pancreatic Enzymes today, at the discounted price of $6.94 for a bottle of 90, 500 mg capsules.

(No coupon required. Offer valid through November 14, 2010).

European Study: Flavonols in Cocoa May Benefit Cardiovascular Health

Recent studies published in the European Heart Journal, seem to support earlier U.S. studies suggesting that small amounts of cocoa or chocolate can lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.

The authors of the European study said that they assessed 19,357 people, who were aged between 35 and 65, and evaluated their chocolate consumption for a period of at least ten years. Though further research is needed, the authors of the study said that flavonols appear to be the substances in cocoa that are responsible for lowering blood pressure and boosting heart health.

Click here to access a copy of a  European abstract on the study.

Happy Reminder: Our Health Co-op offers 6 ounce bags of 100% organic cocoa powder that are perfect for the holidays.

Probiotics 16 - Now $1 Off
Probiotics 16

Probitorics 16 supports digestion, immune, and liver health by supplying over 12 billion live friendly bacteria in each vegetarian capsule.

Probiotics are friendly bacteria our bodies rely on for metabolizing foods, absorbing nutrients, and preventing colonization of harmful bacteria. The numbers of friendly bacteria decline as we age, and the use of antibiotics, cortisone, and birth control pills; radiation and chemotherapy treatments; environmental pollutants, food additives, alcohol, tobacco smoke, stress and poor dietary habits can all negatively impact the delicate balance of friendly bacteria. "Friendly bacteria" are especially necessary during outbreaks of harmful viruses and after exposure to food poisoning.

So take advantage of the Co-op's Discounted price on Probitorics 16 while the sale lasts.

To receive your $1 discount, add Probiotics 16 to your shopping cart and then type: probio into the box provided for the coupon code.

(Offer valid through November 14, 2010).

From a member excited about their success with the Ideal Protein diet:

Hi Teri,

I just wanted to share this wonderful news! Since starting the Ideal Protein diet on August 30, we achived a landmark of sorts. I weighed myself today and found I lost 20 pounds. From 197.5 to 177.5. Also, my waist line went from 43 inches to 36 inches. This is so cool, and I feel amazing! Only 10 more to go!! Woohoo!! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. :)

Warmest wishes,
Eric
