Quick orders

Order” on the left side of the page.
- In Quick Order, best to select 75 items per page above the price column
so you can just scroll through our entire product list.
- Then click the “Add” box next to each product you want and enter the
quantity.
- Click “Add to Cart” at the bottom and checkout.
FedEx home delivery
In addition to UPS and USPS, we can now ship using FedEx Home Delivery –
which is FedEx ground service to residential addresses. Once the order is
processed, it takes 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S and 3–7 business
days to Alaska and Hawaii. Delivery days are Tuesday–Saturday between 9 a.m. and
8 p.m.
Email a friend
We now offer “Email a Friend” on every product page so you can pass on
specific information to your friends or family regarding a particular product.
Write a product review
At the bottom of each product page, members can now write their own review of
a product. This kat would like to thank Carolyn P. from Loveland, Colorado who
wrote the first online review on
Heart Plus.
Meow Carolyn!
Note: Reviews will be monitored, so please keep your reviews clean!

Health in the News
Our first story deserves some attention:
Studies say B vitamins may not lower high heart-attack risk
The media reports suggest that the combination of folic acid, vitamin B12,
and vitamin B6 do not protect against homocysteine, an amino acid that some
doctors believe is as dangerous a risk factor for heart disease as cholesterol.
According to the National Nutritional Foods
Association (NNFA), the two studies cited have quite different exclusion
and inclusion criteria.
“To combine them as one
conclusive result, as is being done in the press, only serves to confuse the
public further. Instead of comparing apples and oranges, we have a case here
where study results have been lumped together to generate another inaccurate
headline.”
In addition to this flaw, neither study provides any information on the
chemical standardization of the dietary supplement test material.
Now, back to health in the news!
Ginkgo Out of Stock: Quality Tests Fail!
I am sorry to report that our last shipment of ginkgo did not pass our
independent quality test.
Our laboratory said they have seen some instances where suppliers have
started replacing real ginkgo with a “ginkgo alternative”, which does not have
all the active ingredients found in natural ginkgo.
And our lab confirmed that fake ginkgo was becoming widespread, having seen
other manufacturer’s samples fail in a similar manner to ours.
Good grief. We had to fire yet another raw materials supplier, one who had
provided potent, natural ginkgo, which tested out at label claim multiple times
in the past.
This is another reason we test every production run. You can never get too
cozy with suppliers in this industry, even if they have done right by you in the
past.
Unfortunately, this means our shelves are empty while we wait for the new
production run to be completed and test out properly. We hope to announce that
we’re back in stock by the end of the month. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, our caution is simply this: “beware when buying ginkgo these
days!”
Well, there’s plenty to get mad about, but that’s not my style. Better to get
refreshed and be ready for what’s next. I encourage you to do the same.
So, enjoy Saint Patrick’s Day (doesn’t matter if you’re Irish, we all need
opportunities to celebrate) and be well! ^..^
Still purringly yours,
Guido
