Greetings
[[firstname]],
Dr. Rodier's
Blog: Breast Cancer & Aspirin, Research on Obesity & Chronic Fatigue "Virus"
Dr. Rodier
shares his decades of expertise through commentary on some of the
latest research in integrative medicine.
Breast Cancer? Take an Aspirin and Call Me in the Morning
Say what? In this
provocative article, Dr. Rodier explores new research linking aspirin with lower
incidences of breast cancer (and interestingly, antibiotics with much higher
cancer rates). While he admits this aspirin research may seem to come from left
field, he explains the significance of inflammation in cancer development and
how attending to gut health (not heredity) gives you the best odds for avoiding
the big C.
Still Ignoring New Research on Obesity
Dr. Rodier tackles a new
report that states excess calories are a more than sufficient explanation when
explaining the obesity epidemic. He expands on what he considers to be neglected
issues behind the obesity epidemic -- some obvious, some surprising.
“Ce n’est pas pas le germ; c’est le terrain”
Dr. Rodier is fond of quoting Louis Pasteur when
it comes to immune health. Pasteur came to the conclusion late in his life that
disease results not from the germs themselves, but from poor immune function
that germs can easily disturb. Dr. Rodier links this philosophy to a recent
study investigating a virus behind chronic fatigue. Dr. Rodier postulates that
while a virus is present, general poor health is the root cause.
Enjoy fair members, and don't try
this at home!
Still purringly yours,
