Free Shipping on Constant Health
In December, we introduced Constant Health with a free blender bottle. Some
members re-ordered immediately after testing the new formula. Here’s what
one member said though after receiving a few too many blender bottles:
Member: "But I don't need another blender bottle..."
Teri: "I'm sending you one anyway. Give it to a friend!"
Okay, so you can decide if you want more
blender
bottles.
Now on to our new promotion –
free shipping
on Constant Health (you save about $8-$9 for one jar of Constant Health).
Save $15 on Constant Health Detox Bundle!
If you're a fan of Constant Health, the
Constant
Health Detox Bundle is your most economical option. You save $5 per
jar ($15 total with three jars) and you still get free shipping on the bundle as
well.
Lessons Learned on Constant Health Introduction
No surprise, we've learned a few lessons on our first production of Constant
Health.
Lesson 1: If you're taking Constant Health, you've probably noticed the small white
freshness protection packets (moisture absorbers) in every jar.
Alas, these packets are too small and members have complained that they sneak
into shakes unnoticed. So next time we will either include one larger freshness
packet or remove altogether.
By the way, the packets are non-toxic, but you still don’t want them in your smoothies.
Please stir through each scoop of powder to find any hidden packets before
mixing with liquids.
Lesson 2: For those of you with big hands, you may find
yourself doing the two-finger dance trying to scoop the powder, especially at
the bottom of the jar.
Sigh. The initial formula was worked on by the women folk in our bunch, and
they thought the short scoops were just fine.
Stephen is one of those two-finger dancers (and not too happy, as he's
regularly scooping Constant Health not only for himself but also for his mom,
who is still in a nursing home recovering from a bad fall).
And, here's what long-time member and new Constant Health fan, Scott
Ferguson, had to say:
"That
snub-nosed little thing makes it really hard to scoop out the product when
you get down to the dregs at the bottom of that big container. One has to
put their whole hand in the jar to reach the bottom with Mr. Stubbyscoop."
"My
manly hands had a difficult time getting inside the jar so I had to hire a
small child to scoop my Constant Health whenever I wanted a drink. The
upside was the kid would also fetch my slippers."
Cindy and Tess had tears rolling down their faces and practically hurt
themselves laughing when they read this one. Scott always has a way with words,
writing being his craft.
So, yes, long-handled scoops will be a priority for the next round.
Kat's promise. ^..^
Deal Alert: Conjugated
Linoleic Acid Delivers 25% More for Same Low Price
Good news, fair members. Each bottle of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) now contains 25% more softgels --
for the same low price!
We decided to drop the Tonalin CLA (a branded ingredient
that costs more due to marketing costs) when high-quality CLA, which tests out
perfectly, is available.
So, we increased the number of softgels to 120 softgels (versus 90) and kept
the price at $11.93.
If you're not familiar with
Conjugated Linoleic Acid,
it supports lean body mass, and is being studied in conjunction with immune
system function.
Omega 3 Shows Benefit for Fat Loss in
Diabetics
The word on fish oil, if you're reading the news lately, is if you're over
50, you might as well buy by the case. Fish oil continues to show promise in
supporting health across the board.
A recent study from France is linking fish oil to fat loss in diabetics and
improvement of blood lipid levels. I know, now you're really interested
after all those holiday indulgences.
Anyway, the study, published in the December issue of the
American Journal of
Clinical Nutrition, tracked 27 women with type-2 diabetes for two
months.
The researchers, led by Morvarid Kabir from France's INSERM, randomly
assigned the volunteers to receive either daily supplements of fish oil (three
grams, providing 1.8 grams of omega-3) or placebo (paraffin oil) for two months.
At the end of the study, Kabir and co-workers reported significant reductions
in total fat mass and the diameter of fat cells beneath the surface of the skin
in the omega-3 group, but not the placebo group. Pretty cool, eh?
Moreover, risk factors for plaque formation in the arteries (atherogenic
markers), such as triacylglycerol levels and the ratio of triacylglycerol to HDL
('good') cholesterol, were significantly lower as a result of omega-3
supplementation, indicating considerable cardiovascular benefits for the women.
More good news!
So fair members, once again a most modestly priced supplement is a hero, yet
again.

Oil product page.

Kat's Notes: Humor from the Call Line
Tess gets calls that don't get
picked up in Florida and often chats with members while taking their orders.
This morning, a long-time member
named Robert called to share a story about a shipping mishap on his recent
Constant Health order. Here's how the call went:
Robert: Hey, are you Tess as in
the Tess from the newsletter?
Tess: I am indeed.
Robert: (giggling) Wow, I can't
believe it, you're a real person.
Tess: Last time I checked!
Robert: It's so cool to meet
you. Thanks for your help today.
Another member from Austin, with
that deep Texas drawl going on, chatted Tess up yesterday. Here's how that
call went:
Harris: Can you hear me?
Tess: Just perfect.
Harris: I'm perfect? Would you
please tell that to my wife?
Tess: Put her on!
Harris: No that's okay, but you
sure have a nice voice. It's nice to speak with someone so pleasant!
'Til next time, fair members!
Still purringly yours,
Guido
