What We Could Do To
Interest Your Friends/Family
While lots of you were
happy to report you send everyone who will listen to the
Co-op (thank you!), a few of you had some helpful
suggestions on what we might do to win the hearts of
your loved ones.
Your requests have been
dually noted, but in the meantime, here's what we
already offer for each of your suggestions:
Tell-a-Friend
If you take a look
directly to your right, you'll see our Tell-a-Friend
feature. Many of you mentioned if you had a way to
directly invite folks to our site, you'd use it.
This is your ticket.
Bribes
("specials" as you call them)
Pssst...here's a
little secret: if your friends and family sign up
for the newsletter, they automatically receive a
coupon for 10% off their first order. You can
mention this when you send them a note through the
Tell-a-Friend feature above. ^..^
Highlighting Our
Quality Program
If you ever want to
mention our quality program, but don't want to go
digging through each individual product page, you
can always send a link to our
general quality page. There you'll find
an explanation of our quality program, links to all
our tests, and short explanations of the latest
results.
Brochures You
Can Give
We have 'em, you just
have to ask if you want extras. We're happy to
include a pack with your order. Just write how many
you'd like in the "Order Comments" box next time you
place an order.
Wisdom for the Co-op &
What You've Learned
Our last two questions on
what wisdom you can offer the Co-op and what you've
learned over the years elicited quite the range of
responses. Funny, sassy, sweet, and wise. Never a dull
moment with this crowd.
Visit our
Survey 2010 Comments page and peruse your
fellow fair members words of wisdom. This kat guarantees
a smile.
Cindy's Blog: Garlic & Cancer, Rosemary
Benefits, Emotions & DNA
Cindy's been delving into some very interesting
research lately, and has been kind enough to distill her readings
into bite-sized blogs you all can enjoy. Check out her recent articles below
to get the scoop:
-
Garlic, Vitamin C & Cancer Protection
Cindy cites new research aiming to provide a blood test to
assess cancer risk. Interestingly, the blood test measures not
only cancer risk, but risk in relation to garlic consumption.
Initial research shows the higher one's intake of garlic, the
lower one's risk of cancer.
-
Rosemary Improves Memory & Reduces Carcinogens in Grilled Meat
Cindy speaks rosemary's praises, citing new research that
rosemary can boost memory function and feelings of contentment
in humans. Further, turns out rosemary may actually counter-act
the toxic effects of grilling meats at high temperatures.
-
Emotions Affect Us at the DNA Level
Recounting fascinating research on DNA, Cindy discusses a
YouTube video with Gregg Braden. Braden's research into DNA
proves how emotions shape DNA -- for better or worse. The
results will astound you.
