Save 10% on Health
Basics
This week we're talking preventative healthcare and savings, here's a chance to
save 10% on a few Co-op favorites:
Heart Plus - Nary a week has passed without Heart Plus as our #1
Co-op product. In addition to being a key component of Bill Henderson's
Beating
Cancer Gently program, Heart Plus has a large following of heart
health seekers.
Fish Oil - It doesn't bring dead people back to life, but it does
just about everything else for your health--fishy omega 3s support your
brain, heart, skin, joints, moods, and more.
Probiotics 16 - Packed with friendly bugs ready to take on the
bad guys in your belly, probiotics support your immune function, healthy
elimination (er, for those of you spending too much time with your morning
paper in the "john"), absorption of critical nutrients in your gut, and so
much more. You can't go wrong with these tiny soldiers protecting your
health.
B-Trio - A hefty dose of B vitamin superstars--B6, B12, and Folic
Acid-- fights
homocysteine and supports heart health, boosts energy, and are just
plain fun to take (suck on these little cherry-flavored tablets and you get
your boost in a thrifty "treat" form)! ^..^
The Best Healthcare Plan - Prevention!
There’s no escaping it. Everywhere you turn this summer people in the United
States are talking about … health care. Yep, health care. The only thing folks
seem to agree on is that they’ve got a colossal conundrum on their hands and
it’s not going away.
Unfortunately you humans only get one life (versus nine lives). Sorry,
it's just the way it goes, so y'all need to pay attention.
For better or worse, what happens in Washington these next few months may
very well impact you and yours.
So what’s the solution? A single-payer system a la Canada and the U.K? A
public insurance option? Doctors paid flat salaries like at Mayo Clinic,
Cleveland Clinic or Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY? Is the insurance
industry the devil incarnate or the Holy Grail? And what about Big Pharma?
Inquiring minds want to know.
And, the zillion dollar question is this: What’s the best heath care option
for you?
You’ve come to the right place, because this kat's got the answer. Yep, you
guessed it, stay healthy! Most of our fair members have been onto this fact for
ages.
Help Us Spread the Word, Save Your Loved Ones 10%
Good health is contagious. Help us pass it along! When your friends and
family
register for our newsletter, they'll receive 10% off their first order.
Go ahead, tell 'em about your favorite kat. They'll thank you for it.
Tell Us Your Health Story and Hopes
When it comes to health care, it seems everyone has a personal story and this
kat wants to hear yours.
Have any of our products helped you address a particular health concern? Do
you have a health care odyssey you’d care to share? Did you learn a health
lesson the hard way? What’s your #1 piece of health advice? Lastly, what’s your
health care prescription for Washington. I'll see if I can have a word with the
president when I get enough of your sentiments pulled together!
International folks, please weigh in with your experiences too, as "Dr. Obama"
needs all of the very finest minds weighing in on this subject. ^..^

Stay tuned for next week when this kat offers advice on how to find the
primary care physician with the right karma.
Until then, I'm off to take a nap. Take a lesson from your feline friends and
remember rest and relaxation cost nothing (something our cheapskates can
appreciate) and yield powerful health benefits. Meow!
Ask the Kat - Can You Use Smaller Bottles?
Q: First
off, I love you guys. I love your products. I love your service. I
love your prices. But, as a green guy concerned about our
environment, something’s been bugging me for awhile. Why is there so
much empty space in so many of your product bottles? Isn’t that
excess plastic and packaging?
OHC:
Here's the scoop. We'd love to use smaller bottles, but
unfortunately even when the product doesn't fill the whole bottle,
we need that much space for our legally-required label
information.
We just can't cram
all the required information on a smaller bottle size, especially in
a size that older eyes can read (ahem).
That said, our
bottles are recyclable, so please don't hesitate to put them
in the recycle bin, rather than the trash.
We've also heard
from members reusing their product bottles as storage containers.
This holds especially true for those big Constant Health bottles.
Hey, they could be great containers for keeping gourmet cat food
extra fresh for your discriminating feline buddies. They will thank
you, trust moi. ^..^
Health in the News
'Til next time, fair members!
