Tess Says Farewell, Co-op Welcomes Chief Community Officer
It's a week of big changes here at the Co-op.
Yesterday was Tess's last day as a member of the team. Not to worry, she'll
still be a card-carrying Co-op community member and devoted fan (we're hoping
she'll still blog for us a bit, too), she's just passed the baton to our new
Chief Community Officer, Chris Harding.
For the full scoop on what's next for Tess, her
views on what's next for the Co-op, and a little about our new team member,
Chris, check out Tess's farewell blog:
Kisses to the Kat - My Last Day at the Co-op!
This kat will certainly miss Tess with her cherubic
smile, irreverent sense of humor, and endless dedication to our fair members
(even, and sometimes especially, the cranky ones).
No question members will love Chris. A lifelong
student of health and community building, Chris will be diving right into
extending the Co-op's offers as a community resource. A big welcome to our
newest human!
Have ideas about how you'd like to see the Co-op
grow as a community resource for healthy aging?
Drop Chris a line.
IKEA Lets Felines Run the Store?
Surely you've heard
the old adage "herding cats," but IKEA decided to test the madness by releasing
100 cats into the store one night.
The experiment was
part of a photography campaign, and the results are excellent (this kat
certainly can't blame advertisers for wanting to capitalize on feline beauty).
Be sure to scroll to the end!
Enjoy
the
adventurous felines, fair members!
