Dear Friend,

Whether you're Irish or not, you're in luck this St. Paddy's Day.

We call your attention to the many green foods on the Ideal Protein Diet, literally from A to Z: Asparagus … Arugula ... Broccoli (rich in vitamins A and C) ... Celery … Collards … Cucumbers … Dill Pickles ... Endive … Green Peppers … Kale…Leeks…Spinach (packed with potassium) … Radish (oops that isn’t green but still on the plan and good for you), Swiss Chard (more potassium!)… Watercress … Zucchini!

So fill your plate with good-for-you-greens this St. Patrick's Day. Better yet, make it a true Irish feast with Flank Steak (better than Corned Beef!) and Cabbage. Alas, we can't help you in the beer department but you may have all the green tea you like! Hot drinks are satiating, so you can't help but feel full. Of course, after all those heaping helpings of green food, you might be full already!
