Dear Friend,

What's the fastest way to wreak havoc on your diet and metabolic system?  Skipping meals!  It may seem counter-intuitive, but skipping meals delivers a one-two negative punch. 

First, skipping meals will cause your body to react as if it were in a famine.  Not knowing when the next meal will be offered, your body will naturally hold on to calories and fat and sacrifice muscle. 

Second, it affects your taste buds and makes you much more likely to reach for sweet and salty foods, the quick fix, and not those good-for-you veggies. 

Third, it predisposes you to developing insulin resistance, which in turn can lead to diabetes and heart disease.  Strange as it might seem, folks who eat meals on a regular schedule have smaller waistlines, too.  So, be a little boring and predictable!   Don't skip meals.  Breakfast is especially important.  (I'm sure you've heard that one before!)   Please don’t skip meals it will slow your weight loss progress.
