Marketing Director, Kelly McKibbin

Kelly McKibbin is a communications professional with over eight years of experience in public relations, market research, and marketing communications. She has planned and produced marketing brochures and promotional pieces, client presentations, websites, ad campaigns and media relations materials.

As Marketing Director, Kelly works closely with our President, Cindy Marteney, in our Salt Lake City office. There is a lot of brainstorming between the two of them trying to find inexpensive ways to market the Co-op.

Even with all her communications background, Kelly says she is essentially a science geek! Kelly actually holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and started her career in winemaking, doing some vineyard consulting on the microbiology of wines. These days, Kelly loves research and happily dives into the never-ending scientific studies on supplements. Evaluating the science, in partnership with our industry consultants, allows Kelly to play an important role in product management as well as marketing.

Kelly also likes to push recipes into newsletters -for she is what they call a “cook’s cook!” While Kelly influences newsletter content on diet, the Co-op has also had a big impact on this adventurous 30-something.

"Since being with the Co-op, I really have changed my diet! I have become a big fan of Omega 3's. Not only am I taking my Fish Oil but I have added more fish and nuts to my diet. I can really see the difference in my joints, skin, hair and nails! Omega 3's do a body good!"

Kelly is also a pet owner (canine variety in this case)! Just like Teri! Good grief. What is the matter with our management team? Anyway, Kelly's Labrador Retriever goes by the name of Zeke. Kelly and Zeke spend lots of their free time outdoors in the mountains of Utah. And, Zeke, like many dogs in Park City, is rarely seen without his tennis ball when it comes time to go for a hike!
